UPDATE as of AUGUST 2020: this name of this show has changed and it has a new website: http://www.sothisislove.ca

Meet Christine. She’s been looking for love in all the wrong places. She’s tried everything but just can’t seem to find her Mr. Right. Her search takes her from the absurd to the heartbreaking. It’s a modern portrayal on dating in our wireless world that will have you laughing and crying, sometimes all at once!

This show takes you through Christine’s story with narration and song. Underneath the humour the show presents an exaggerated commentary on the human condition with its seemingly unquenchable quest for happiness. It touches upon the need for companionship and the loneliness we all feel whether in relationship or alone. Mostly it tells a funny story with memorable songs along the way!

This show can be performed as a stage show with 3 performers or as a 1 woman show. There is a “Book Club” option which includes a discussion following the performance with pertinent questions designed to explore the deeper themes behind the raucous humour.

I’m so glad I saw this show! An insightful, engaging and entertaining story told with beautiful sincerity. And the real gem for me were the songs to punctuate the storyline. Performed with passion and joy, and written with heartfelt honesty, the music brought warmth and depth to the whole performance. Bravo ladies!
